Velari Double Jointed Loose Ring Snaffle Sweet Iron

Velari Double Jointed Loose Ring Snaffle Sweet Iron offers you a gentle, adaptable connection to your horse and supports an elastic, sensitive contact for a relaxed riding experience.

Soft Connection & Relaxed Jaw Movement

The double-jointed mouthpiece ensures even pressure distribution on the tongue and bars. This design prevents the nutcracker effect, which is especially beneficial for sensitive horses. The gentle bend supports natural jaw movement and promotes calm chewing. This creates a fine, elastic connection between you and your horse. Many horses benefit from this balanced pressure that adapts to the natural shape of the mouth.

Sweet Iron for Natural Acceptance

The mouthpiece made of Sweet Iron naturally oxidizes during use. This process encourages saliva production and increases acceptance of the bit. A more supple mouth leads to a softer contact, positively influencing the overall riding feel. Horses with a flat palate, who are sensitive to single-jointed bits, especially benefit from the double-jointed design. The reduced upward movement toward the palate provides additional comfort. These features help keep your horse relaxed and attentive.

More Mobility & Precise Aids

The loose rings of the Loose Ring Snaffle allow high mobility of the mouthpiece. This flexibility supports gentle rein aids and keeps the connection soft and responsive. Light chewing is encouraged, which increases your horse’s attention. The design is ideal for riders seeking a clear yet elastic feel. At the same time, horses that prefer a movable, finely responsive bit benefit. This creates harmonious communication between rider’s hand and horse’s mouth.
