All-purpose saddle

As the name suggests, an all-purpose saddlefulfills a multitude of functions and can be used in various riding disciplines. This all-rounder combines the basic requirements of dressage, show jumping, eventing, and cross-country riding, thus integrating the characteristics of dressageand jumping saddles. Characteristic of all-purpose saddlesare pronounced knee rolls and medium-length saddle flaps that are cut slightly forward. The seat offers a balanced mix of jumping and dressage saddle, which gives the rider comfort in cross-country, support in jumping, and a good seat in dressage. Thanks to all-purpose saddles, the rider can ride and jump in both a dressage seat and a jumping seat.

There are variants of all-purpose saddlesthat focus on dressage and are characterized by slightly longer saddle flaps. Others emphasize jumping and have saddle flaps cut a little further forward. Due to their versatile applications, these saddles are particularly popular for training young horses and among recreational riders.

All-purpose saddlesare available with both long girth straps for short girths and short girth straps for long girths, which emphasizes their adaptability to different girthing systems.
