This is what our customers say
- soft, snug protective sack/cover for the tail that still allows freedom of movement for the tail root
- simple and hair-friendly attachment without Velcro or other fasteners that can pull out or break hairs: place the braided tail into the tail protector and tie/weave the two upper ends into the braided tail
- ideal for transport: protects the tail from manure and resulting stickiness when horses defecate more frequently in the trailer or transporter
- also practical in the stall: protects the freshly washed, braided tail at night before the competition/show from manure and bedding
- perfect when you have to ride or lunge on muddy outdoor arenas due to lack of alternatives: protects the tail from mud and prevents the need to wash the tail extensively afterward in cool weather
- after use, simply hang to dry (e.g., outside on the saddle cabinet) and shake/knock out the dirt after drying; occasionally wash in the machine, e.g., with saddle pads
- silent in movement, so also suitable for riding noise-sensitive horses
- suitable for all tail lengths and thicknesses
- Material: 82% Nylon, 18% Elasthan
- machine washable at 30°C Note: Use the tail protector only indoors, such as in a transporter or stall, if the horse is otherwise adequately protected from flies (e.g., by a Fly Rug), as the natural fly defense by the tail is limited when using the tail protector.
