Versatile Protection in Any Weather

The Eskadron Fly Rug Arika Shower-Tek is the ideal solution for changeable summer days when sun, wind, and light rain alternate. As a well-designed hybrid rug, it combines waterproof zones with breathable mesh fabric – for reliable protection and high wearing comfort in the pasture.

Weatherproof and Breathable at the Same Time

The top line made of 600 Denier diamond ripstop material is waterproof and reliably protects your horse’s back from rain scald and fading caused by sunlight – with 85% UV protection. The seamless back section helps automatically align the rug correctly and prevents creasing. The lower area consists of lightweight micromesh, which forms an effective barrier against flies and insects while ensuring good air circulation. The innovative 45° angled T-bar closure evenly distributes pressure across the chest area and reduces the risk of chafing. This keeps your horse protected and relaxed even during movement.

Extended Functionality for Active Horses

A shaped belly flap with a three-strap closure, including a detachable center strap, maximizes coverage and ensures a secure fit. The patented, two-part construction of the rug relieves your horse’s body and supports unrestricted freedom of movement in the pasture. Optionally, a detachable neck collar with a contoured, waterproof mane insert offers additional protection in stronger wind or rain. The Arika Shower-Tek can be machine washed at 30 °C – please close all fasteners beforehand. After washing, the rug should be air-dried and must not be tumble dried. Thanks to its clever combination of function and comfort, it is a reliable companion for horses during the pasture season.
