HKM Loose Ring Snaffle Shetty 12 mm

The HKM Loose Ring Snaffle Shetty is 12 mm thick and made of stainless steel.

Mouthpiece and Material

The single-jointed mouthpiece has a joint in the middle. It is made for Shettys. It is made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is durable and easy to clean. The Loose Ring Snaffle is the classic bit for training and everyday riding. Its rings move freely.

Sizes

It comes in sizes 45/105 width and 45/95 width. The mouthpiece thickness is 12 mm. The size information indicates the ring diameter and bit width in millimeters. Measure your horse’s mouth width before purchasing. A properly fitting bit extends about 0.5 cm on each side. If it is too narrow, it pinches; if it is too wide, it slips around.

Care and Notes

Rinse the bit with clean water after every ride. Remove any food residue thoroughly. Check it regularly for wear and sharp edges. Store it in a dry place. A specialist can help you choose a bit if you have any questions. This will keep it comfortable for your horse for a long time.
