HKM Loose Ring Snaffle 18 mm

The HKM Loose Ring Snaffle is 18 mm thick and made of stainless steel with rubber.

Mouthpiece and Material

The single-jointed mouthpiece has a joint in the middle. It is covered with rubber, which is designed to protect the sensitive corners of the horse's mouth. The core is made of rust-resistant stainless steel. The Loose Ring Snaffle is a classic bit for training and everyday riding. Its rings are movable.

Sizes

Available sizes are 60/115 width, 70/125 width, 70/135 width, 70/145 width, and 70/155 width. The mouthpiece thickness is 18 mm. The size indicates the ring diameter and bit width in millimeters. Measure your horse's mouth width before buying. A properly fitting bit extends about 0.5 cm on each side. If it's too narrow, it pinches; if it's too wide, it slips.

Care and instructions

Rinse the bit with clean water after every ride. Remove any feed residue thoroughly. Check it regularly for wear and sharp edges. Store it in a dry place. If you have questions about choosing a bit, ask a specialist. This will keep it comfortable for your horse for a long time.
