HKM Loose Ring Snaffle 16 mm

The HKM Loose Ring Snaffle is 16 mm thick and made of stainless steel.

Mouthpiece and Material

The double-jointed mouthpiece has a center link and adapts well to the shape of the horse’s mouth. It is made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is durable and easy to clean. The Loose Ring Snaffle is the classic bit for training and everyday riding. Its rings are movable.

Sizes

Available sizes are 60/115 width, 70/125 width, 70/135 width, 70/145 width and 70/155 width. The mouthpiece thickness is 16 mm. The size indicates the ring diameter and bit width in millimeters. Measure your horse’s mouth width before purchasing. A well-fitting bit extends about 0.5 cm on each side. If it is too narrow, it pinches; if it is too wide, it slips.

Care and Instructions

Rinse the bit with clean water after every ride. Remove any feed residue thoroughly. Check it regularly for wear and sharp edges. Store it in a dry place. If you have questions about choosing a bit, a specialist can help. This helps keep it comfortable for your horse for a long time.
