HKM Turnout Rug Starter with Neck Cover

The HKM Turnout Rug Starter with detachable neck cover protects your horse from rain and wind in the field. It has no wadding filling.

Protection from rain and wind

The 600D outer fabric is waterproof and windproof and withstands heavy rain. With a 3,000 mm hydrostatic head, the rug is waterproof. Breathability is 3,000 ml per m² over 24 hours. The rug’s Seams are taped. The rug has no wadding filling. It is made from 100% polyester.

Versatile with a neck cover

The neck cover is detachable when you don’t need it. This lets you adapt the rug to the weather. Gussets provide your horse with plenty of freedom of movement. A tail flap offers extra protection from moisture. The rug is available in dark blue. You can get it in sizes 115 to 165.

Secure fit in the field

Double front fastenings, cross surcingles, elastic leg straps, and a tail strap keep the rug securely in place. So it stays put even when your horse is moving. This is important when your horse is out in the field. Choose a Size that suits your horse’s measurements. This helps the rug fit well at the shoulder and hindquarters.
