Waldhausen Turnout Rug 250g / 100g SCANDIC Multi-Layer Functional Rug

The Waldhausen Turnout Rug 250g / 100g SCANDIC Multi-Layer Functional Rug combines innovative technology, high-quality materials, and thoughtful details. It is the perfect choice for riders looking for a reliable, durable, and comfortable rug for their horse – ideal for cold and changeable weather conditions.

Intelligent Multi-Layer Insulation

With its advanced multi-layer Filling, the SCANDIC Functional Rug offers optimal protection and temperature regulation. The back area is more heavily padded with 250g to provide targeted warmth to sensitive muscle areas, while the sides with 100g Filling ensure lightness and freedom of movement. The 1200 Denier ripstop outer material is especially robust, tear-resistant, and water-repellent – perfect for daily use in the pasture or open stable. The V-front closure and the gusset guarantee a pressure-free fit and optimal freedom of movement. This way, your horse stays dry, warm, and fully protected at all times.

Comfort, Functionality, and Safety

The antibacterial lining ensures a hygienic and pleasant wearing experience, while foam inserts in the wither area effectively prevent pressure points. Reflective details such as the piping and the Waldhausen lettering increase visibility in low light conditions and contribute to your horse’s safety. The rug is compatible with the clip-in rug system and can thus be individually adjusted – ideal for changing temperatures. With three sturdy belly straps, leg straps, and an extra-large tail flap, the rug stays securely in place even during movement. Waldhausen design buckles and high-quality workmanship make this Turnout Rug a durable companion for every season.

Practical Stay Clean Inlay

Another highlight is the innovative Stay Clean Inlay, which allows for a clean and hygienic fitting. It prevents horsehair and dirt from sticking to the rug when it is only tried on briefly. The inlay is integrated directly on the inside and can be easily removed after fitting. This keeps your rug clean and ready to use – a clever solution for modern equestrian everyday life. Please note that the Stay Clean Inlay is intended only for fitting and not for permanent use.
