Waldhausen Turnout Rug 150g / 50g SCANDIC Multi-Layer Functional Rug

The Waldhausen Turnout Rug 150g / 50g SCANDIC Multi-Layer Functional Rug combines the latest materials, thoughtful design, and maximum comfort. It was specially developed for demanding riders who value functionality, durability, and optimal protection for their horse – in any weather.

Innovative Multi-Layer Technology

The Scandic Multi-Layer Functional Rug offers perfect thermal protection with its intelligent multi-layer Filling while remaining lightweight. The back area is more heavily padded with 150g to provide targeted warmth to sensitive muscle areas, while the sides have 50g Filling for lightness and freedom of movement. The breathable and waterproof 1200 Denier Ripstop material keeps your horse dry and reliably protects against wind and weather. The V-front closure ensures a pressure-free fit in the chest area, supported by a foam insert to relieve the withers. With the gusset, your horse enjoys maximum freedom of movement, whether in the pasture or paddock.

Highest Comfort and Thoughtful Design

The antibacterial lining of this Turnout Rug ensures a pleasant wearing experience and contributes to your horse’s skin health. Reflective elements and a reflective piping increase visibility at dusk and in the dark, significantly improving your horse’s safety. The extra-large tail flap offers additional protection against wind and rain. Thanks to the clip-in rug system, the rug can be flexibly combined with Under Rugs to optimally adjust to temperature and weather. Waldhausen design buckles and robust attachment loops complete the high-quality overall look and guarantee long durability – even with intensive use.

Practical Stay Clean Inlay

A highlight of the Scandic Multi-Layer Functional Rug is the innovative Stay Clean Inlay. This hygienic protective layer prevents horsehair or dirt from settling in the rug during fitting. The inlay is integrated directly on the inside and can be easily removed after fitting. This keeps the rug clean, even if it was only tested briefly. The system is ideal for riders who value cleanliness and easy handling. Please note: The inlay is intended exclusively for fitting and is not suitable for permanent use.
