Free Returns within Germany

If you do not like the goods or if the goods do not meet your expectations, you can cancel your order within the withdrawal period and send the goods back to us. You will receive a label for returns in our Returns Portal.

Guaranteed Delivery Times

Unless a different period is specified in the respective offer, delivery of goods within Germany will take place within 1–4 business days after the contract is concluded (or after your payment instruction if prepayment is agreed). Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays. Delivery times abroad (EU or worldwide) are 5–7 business days unless otherwise stated.

If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the goods in one combined shipment unless we have agreed otherwise with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time that you ordered.

On special promotion days such as Black Friday or during the Christmas season, we expect a particularly high volume of packages. We do everything to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but minimal delays may occur.

After handing over your delivery to a desired drop-off location or your selected neighbor, the parcel service and we unfortunately cannot continue to assume liability. Therefore, please ensure that your package will be safely and weatherproof stored at the drop-off location and/or that your selected neighbor is at home so that our products reach you safely and in good condition.

HKM Eggbutt Bit 16 mm

The HKM Eggbutt Bit is 16 mm thick and made of German silver.

Mouthpiece and Material

The double-jointed mouthpiece has a center link and adapts well to the shape of the horse’s mouth. The special shape of the eggbutt rings is designed to prevent them from slipping through the mouth. The mouthpiece is made of German silver, and the rings are made of stainless steel. According to HKM, German silver stimulates salivation and chewing. The rings on the eggbutt bit are fixed to the mouthpiece, keeping the bit steady in the horse’s mouth.

Sizes

Available sizes are 55/115 width, 65/115 width, 65/125 width, 65/135 width, and 70/145 width. The mouthpiece thickness is 16 mm. The size indicates the ring diameter and bit width in millimeters. Measure your horse’s mouth width before buying. A properly fitting bit extends about 0.5 cm on each side. If it is too narrow, it will pinch; if it is too wide, it will slide around.

Care and notes

Rinse the bit with clean water after every ride. Remove any food residue thoroughly. Check it regularly for wear and sharp edges. Store it in a dry place. If you have questions about choosing a bit, ask a specialist. This will help keep it comfortable for your horse for a long time.
