Hackamore Short Combi Elliptical 16 mm Mechanical Hackamore

Fine Control for Sensitive Horses

Trust Equestrian combines with the Hackamore Short Combi Eliptical the advantages of a Sweet Iron bit with an additional noseband for gentle yet effective influence. This thoughtful combination is ideal for sensitive horses and experienced riders who value finely tuned aids.

Sweet Iron for Better Acceptance

The double-jointed mouthpiece made of Sweet Iron naturally stimulates saliva production through its special steel alloy. As soon as moisture touches the blue mouthpiece, a controlled oxidation begins, creating a sweet taste – an effect that most horses accept very well. Over time, the blue surface changes into a gray-brown pattern without affecting functionality. Even when not in use, a thin layer of rust forms, which can be easily removed with a damp cloth. The 16 mm thick design offers a stable position in the mouth and even pressure distribution over the tongue and bars.

Additional Nose Pressure for More Effect

The integrated, hackamore-like noseband gives the Short Combi Eliptical its special versatility. It distributes pressure not only on the mouth but also on the nasal bridge and poll – ideal for horses with sensitive mouths or special training requirements. However, this bit requires an experienced, gentle rider’s hand, as the combined effect is clearly noticeable. To prevent pinching of the lips, soft bit guards are attached, which also create a harmonious overall appearance. The side stainless steel parts are rust-free and durable, further enhancing everyday usability. This bit is a functional solution for riders who want to combine targeted aids with maximum comfort.
