Horseware Ireland Fly Rug Rambo Protector Integrated

Horseware Ireland stands for innovative rug solutions in equestrian sports – and the Fly Rug Rambo Protector Integrated sets new standards in reliable Insect Protection. The self-repairing mesh fabric, 65% UV protection, and thoughtful fit make it the ideal choice for sensitive or spirited horses. Discover a Fly Rug you can rely on in everyday summer life.

Maximum Protection in the Pasture

The patented, self-repairing mesh fabric made of polyester and nylon is especially durable and breathable. It offers your horse effective protection against flies, horseflies, and other insects. At the same time, the integrated 65% UV protection significantly reduces harmful sun exposure. The extended cut in the chest, carpal, and fetlock areas generously covers sensitive zones. An extra-wide belly flap and a generous tail flap further increase the protection area. This makes the rug ideal for horses with sensitive skin or strong movement drive.

Comfort Meets Freedom of Movement

The innovative V-chest closure relieves pressure on the shoulders and reduces friction in the sensitive withers area. Combined with double leg openings, it allows your horse natural freedom of movement while grazing and running. The silky lining in the shoulder, neck, and tail areas supports wearing comfort and protects against chafing. Three adjustable belly straps, sturdy Velcro fasteners, and a tail strap ensure a secure fit even during lively play. The anatomical fit is typical of the proven Rambo® quality. For extended all-around protection, you can combine the rug with the separately available Rambo® Protector Neck Cover.

Durable and Easy to Care For

The high-quality material combination makes the Fly Rug particularly durable and resistant in daily use. The robust mesh fabric retains its shape and function even with intensive use. For cleaning, you can wash the rug in the washing machine at 30 °C. It is important to close all Velcro fasteners and secure straps before washing. Afterwards, let it air dry and avoid direct heat sources. For storage, a cool, dry place in a breathable storage bag is recommended.
