Free Returns within Germany

If you do not like the goods or if the goods do not meet your expectations, you can cancel your order within the withdrawal period and send the goods back to us. You will receive a label for returns in our Returns Portal.

Guaranteed Delivery Times

Unless a different period is specified in the respective offer, delivery of goods within Germany will take place within 1–4 business days after the contract is concluded (or after your payment instruction if prepayment is agreed). Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays. Delivery times abroad (EU or worldwide) are 5–7 business days unless otherwise stated.

If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the goods in one combined shipment unless we have agreed otherwise with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time that you ordered.

HKM Baby curb bit 16 mm

The HKM baby curb bit is 16 mm thick and made of Argentan.

Mouthpiece and material

The shank is 5 cm long. A baby curb bit has a short shank. The mouthpiece is made of Argentan, and the rings are made of stainless steel. According to HKM, Argentan promotes salivation and chewing activity. A curb bit is used together with a bradoon in a double bridle. It should be used by experienced hands.

Sizes

Available sizes are 12.5 cm, 13.5 cm, 14.5 cm, and 15.5 cm. The mouthpiece thickness is 16 mm. The size specification gives the ring diameter and bit width in millimeters. Measure your horse's mouth width before buying. A properly fitting bit extends about 0.5 cm on each side. If it is too narrow, it pinches; if it is too wide, it slips out of place.

Care and notes

Rinse the bit with clean water after every ride. Remove all feed residue thoroughly. Check it regularly for wear and sharp edges. Store it in a dry place. If you have questions about choosing a bit, ask an equine professional. This will help keep it comfortable for your horse for a long time.
