Hello dear ones. For several weeks now, I have been testing the Carbon Gel Vento Save the Sheep Brushing Boots and Fetlock Boots from Veredus for you. I can simply say that I am absolutely thrilled!
Appearance and Special Features of the "Save the Sheep" Series
Visually, thanks to the Carbon and Nitrexgel, they are an absolute eye-catcher in my opinion! Especially with the color options in brown or black, you can perfectly match them, for example, to your leather equipment or the horse’s coat color!
The double ventilation of the Brushing Boots and especially the technical fabric – meaning faux lambskin in the spirit of ‘Save the Sheep’ – convinced me more than anything. After holding the Brushing Boots in my hand, I actually had to double-check by reading up again to convince myself that it’s not real lambskin, because the quality is simply amazing and the fur is super soft. Animal welfare is a very important topic for me, so I think it’s fantastic that leading brands in equestrian sports, like Veredus, are doing more and more for sustainable and animal-friendly products! For me, this is an absolute plus for Veredus compared to other Brushing Boots!
Tested in Everyday Life
Of course, I didn’t skip any tough tests for my report and tested the Brushing Boots in many different environments. Dirt and grime are super easy to brush off, and even with heavy soiling and after Washing, the quality remains unchanged and the product simply looks like new! If you’re looking for a sustainable and long-lasting product, you definitely can’t go wrong with this.
The faux lambskin is generally much easier to care for than real lambskin; it doesn’t “clump” and is easy to maintain and “brush out.”
The Brushing Boots offer optimal all-around protection, are easy to care for, and thanks to their anatomical shape, they fit the horse’s leg perfectly. The practical button closure also convinces me with its great hold and is easier for me to use daily than Velcro, which gets dirty faster and is not as easy to clean.
