The Ice Vibe Boots
The classic Ice Vibe Boots are the heart of the Ice-Vibe series. These innovative massage Brushing Boots with integrated cooling elements are ideal for use before and after training. They support regeneration and prepare your horse optimally for upcoming challenges. Additionally, they are a valuable aid in case of injuries: while cooling has an anti-inflammatory effect, it can also slow down blood circulation and metabolism. This is exactly where the Ice Vibe Boots come in – through gentle vibrations, they promote blood flow, help reduce swelling, and support the removal of dead cells.
Proper Use of the Ice Vibe Boots
- Wrap the cooling element, chilled in the freezer, around your horse’s leg, making sure the Velcro fastener points backward toward the tail. The "TOP" marking should be on top, while the Velcro fastener is on the outside of the leg
- Insert the fully charged vibration element into the Brushing Boot
- Press and hold the power button on the back of the Brushing Boot for 3 seconds to start the vibration. Then press one to three times to set the desired vibration level
- Position the Ice-Vibe Brushing Boot on the back of the horse’s leg and wrap it around the cooling element. The power button must sit directly on the tendon
- Close the Velcro fasteners
Ice-Vibe Hock Wrap (Hock Joint)
The Hock Wrap Brushing Boots were specially designed for the hock joint and support both treatment and prevention of injuries. They also combine cooling and massage therapy to relieve tendon injuries and promote healing.
The massage effect helps drain lymph fluids and inflammation, stimulating the healing of injured tissue. The Ice-Vibe Brushing Boots are also ideal for horses on stall rest, as the vibration simulates the horse’s movement. The boots are shaped to fit the hock joint, ensuring optimal freedom of movement.
Ice-Vibe Knee Wrap (Carpal Joint)
The Knee Wrap Brushing Boots were specially developed for the carpal joint (forelimb wrist joint). These boots can also be used with or without cooling packs to reduce swelling and stimulate blood circulation. To increase blood flow to the tendons, the boots can be stimulated with the vibration elements before exercise.
FYI
The Brushing Boots are usually offered as cooling and vibration boots. But an important advantage is that the cooling pack can also be used for heat therapy. Instead of placing it in the freezer, it can simply be warmed in warm water. This makes the boots even more versatile and flexible to adapt to your horse’s needs.
